Princeton University’s Regional Development Plan Passes by a Vote of 9-1
The Regional Planning Board of Princeton approved Princeton University’s proposed Arts and Transit neighborhood plan at a meeting Tuesday, Dec. 18, by a vote of 9-1. The approval clears the way for the University to break ground in early 2013. NJ SEED supports Princeton University’s Arts and Transit neighborhood plan as it represents an incredible amount of direct benefit to not only the citizens of the community but to the region and the state’s economy. Princeton University’s proposal to create an Arts Center and redevelop the surrounding area will provide a single transit station unifying all modes of transportation in the town of Princeton. It will also create a true transportation hub while increasing the efficiency of public transportation for all of those in Princeton.
