Susquehanna-Roseland Power Line Takes Major Step Forward; NJ SEED Congratulates PSE&G

It is with great happiness that NJ SEED reports to you that the National Park Service has issued an announcement indicating that its preferred route for the Susquehanna Roseland transmission line has been selected; the route previously approved by utility regulators and unanimously preferred by Public Service Electric and Gas Co (PSE&G).

A long championed issue for NJ SEED, the building of the Susquehanna-Roseland Power Line will generate employment, build the gross domestic product, and generate local and state tax revenues. Most importantly, it will increase our region’s overall energy efficiency, saving  consumers more than $200 million per year by relieving congestion on the power grid.  NJ SEED would like to personally congratulate NJ SEED’s Vice President Art Guida of PSE&G, for a resounding victory on this issue.

Please find PSE&G’s press release here.
